2002 Sequoyah Research Center Symposium - Celebrating Indigenous
Lives
November 14-16, 2002

The 2002 Sequoyah Research Center Symposium celebrated individually and collectively the lives of the Indigenous peoples of North America by observing, extolling, and honoring their achievements and by proclaiming and publishing them abroad. This symposium
wa funded in part by a grant from the Arkansas Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Additional funding and in-kind support
